Welcome to GoodHeart ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application. Your privacy matters to us, and we are committed to being transparent about our data practices.
GoodHeart is operated by The Yass House ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the App, you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy.
First Name: We collect the first name you provide during onboarding to personalize your experience (e.g., greetings and notifications).
Habit Data: The habits you create, including habit names, icons, colors, frequency settings, and completion records are stored locally on your device.
Preferences: Your onboarding quiz responses, nudge time preferences, and notification settings are stored locally on your device to customize your experience.
Subscription Data: If you subscribe to GoodHeart Pro, your subscription status is managed through Apple's App Store (via RevenueCat). We do not collect or store your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID. Apple handles all payment processing.
Device Information: We may collect basic device information such as device type, operating system version, and app version for the purpose of troubleshooting and improving the App.
Notification Tokens: If you enable notifications, a device token is generated to deliver your gentle nudge reminders. This token is stored locally and is not shared with third parties.

All of your habit data, preferences, and personal information (such as your first name) are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This means:
Subscription status is verified through RevenueCat and Apple's StoreKit framework. RevenueCat's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy, available at revenuecat.com/privacy.
The App uses the following third-party services:
Apple App Store / StoreKit: Handles all payment processing for subscriptions. Apple's privacy policy applies to all transactions.
RevenueCat: Manages subscription status and entitlements. RevenueCat may process anonymized subscription data. See their privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Expo / React Native: The development framework used to build the App. Expo's push notification service may process device tokens for delivering notifications.
We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not integrate with Facebook, Google Analytics, or any social media platforms.
GoodHeart is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.
Access your data: All your data is stored locally on your device. You can view it directly within the App.
Delete your data: Use the "Clear All Data" option in Settings to permanently delete all your data from the device. Alternatively, uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data.
Control notifications: You can enable or disable notifications at any time through the App's Settings or your device's system settings.
Cancel your subscription: You can cancel your GoodHeart Pro subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. No refund is provided for partial billing periods.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, your data persists as long as the App is installed and you have not cleared it. We do not retain any personal data on our servers. Subscription records are maintained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their respective retention policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
GoodHeart is built to fund animal rescue. Over half of all profits from GoodHeart Pro subscriptions fund The Yass House, a cat rescue operation in Morocco dedicated to rescuing, caring for, and rehoming stray cats. When you subscribe, you are directly supporting this mission.
